Historic Interest
In May 1981 it was a Whitbread Keg pub, but in July 1981 it was to start selling Duttons Bitter (H), though this did not last long. Customers had to wait until August 1994 when Holts Bitter appeared and this continued to available for the next four years when it was joined by Boddingtons Bitter too. The Boddingtons was to be swapped for Hartleys XB in 1999 but only Holts Bitter remained, and it was still there in February 2002 and December 2003.
