Stone built moorland pub on the outskirts of town on the busy A675. Very much geared up for dining. The smaller car park next to the pub is maintained by the British Mountaineering Council (BMC) for access to the quarry at the rear of the pub which contains hazardous cliff faces with loose rocks! No Cask Beer available now.

Historic Interest

In 1982 this was a Whitbread pub selling Duttons Bitter and Hartleys XB (H)
