Indian Brewery Taproom, Birmingham

Large beer hall and brewery tap in the Jewellery Quarter. Opened in late 2024, it is an extension of Indian Brewery Snow Hill, which is situated nearby in the arches under the railway station.

This large, open plan hall is in a former engineering works, tastefully converted. Visitors are greeted by a large bar on the right-hand side when entering, serving up to four cask beers as well as a range of keg beers. Almost all beers are their own and brewed on site in the brewing equipment on display behind the large screen used for showing sports. Seating is beer hall-style with long benches, with several high tables surrounding. There is a mezzanine level with further seating located above the toilets.

Food is available up until one hour before closing. The range is predominantly pizzas with Indian ingredients, e.g. butter chicken pizza.

Service is at the bar, though staff will come to tables to take your order as well. While walk-ins are possible most of the time, it does get very busy when major sports are shown and booking is advisable at these times.
