This Pub is Permanently Closed

Tasteful Wetherspoon conversion of a former nightclub at the university end of town opened in 2011. Guest ales greet you on the first few pumps and the others dispense the regular beers. One real cider is usually available on draft plus one or two ciders / perries from boxes in the fridge. The smart interior of the pub caters more for dining than partying and local history, in pictures, adorns the walls. A supporter of the CLIC Sargent charity.
