This Pub is Permanently Closed

The original pub was opened in 1849, but demolished later to make way for the current building in 1933, which has been refurbished more recently in 2001 & 2011. The last incarnation was as a gastro pub, until it suddenly closed down on 24th December 2012. The pub was later converted into a private house during the summer of 2013 and some new houses were built on the car park and garden areas.

A 1933 rebuild, replacing an older pub dating back to 1849.
