Situated just off the high street, this thriving town centre pub has at least three ales on most of the time, changing on a regular basis. Very friendly and welcoming staff.

If you like a drop of the stronger stuff, there is a choice of over 160 gins!

Out the back there is a superb terraced garden, with shelters, and an outbuilding housing pub games, such as bar billiards.

Worth following CAMRA's "Ask if its Cask" advice especially with Hobgoblin IPA, Wainwright Gold or Wainwright Amber
