The pub opened after a major refurbishment in September 2014. It was then in a modern style, offering food all day and up to three changing real ales; however, the handpumps disappeared and, at the time of writing (December 2025), no food was available (and the tenancy was up for grabs). The areas are games room, bar areas including a seated area near and at the bar with bar stools. The former main food area is up a short level but disabled access is available. TV showing both Sky and BT sports channel and free wifi.
