This Pub is Permanently Closed

This family-run hotel, on the banks of the River Ayr is not accessible by public transport but is well worth seeking out. The comfortable bar and adjacent restaurant feature bespoke hand-made furniture and the bedrooms are furnished in a similar style. The food menu relies heavily on local produce and fish from the inn's own smokehouse is a speciality. Booking for meals at week-ends is strongly recommended. Closed permanently October 2019.
