This Pub is Permanently Closed

The Black Horse belonged to ABC breweries and was under license to the Boniface family.

The original house of Walter Boniface was in the grounds where the Black Horse pub was built in about 1936 and the license went to Walter's son Alfred who managed it into the 1960s with his wife Rose Ann

Was owned by Fullers in the late 90s and then run as a free house in the early 2000s until conversion to an Indian restaurant.
