The Red Lion is an attractive, rural 17th century free house. The one-room bar is smart and welcoming with a restaurant to the side. It offers accommodation and free wireless broadband access. Recent refurbishments have added some very smart toilets and a function room. A cosy snug, with television and games available is to the left of the bar. The pub also has a commendable policy of sourcing its real ales from local breweries.

Has been known to close earlier than the advertised opening hours.
