A two-roomed cosy village pub. One side contains the bar and the other is laid for dining. The pub reopened in December 2024 having been bought by Ashendon Community Pub Society Limited (a Community Benefit Society) in September 2024 with many residents of Ashendon, the surrounding area and further afield owning shares. It is set at the end of a quiet lane and has a pleasant garden with extensive views of Aylesbury Vale. Since reopening, it has been run by temporary managers but, in January 2026, tenants were appointed and food and accommodation are again available. You will be ensured of a warm welcome..

In March 2024 they were awarded a grant of £300K from the Community Ownership Fund. They launched a community share scheme in May/June 2024 and raised .£500K. In September 2024 the purchase of the freehold was completed. They are now looking for a tenant to run the pub.
