A Wetherspoons converted from a Hotel! This historic ex-coaching inn is in the centre of Wycombe on the High Street. It is a lively open plan pub with a great range of real ales. A welcome commitment to local beers ensures that there is always at least one ale from the locality. There is an area reserved for diners and an area for those that wish to only sample the excellent ale. It can get crowded and noisy in the evenings. The cider is from Weston's. The Guild Hall and "Pepper-pot" buildings are near and merit attention. Plenty of space outside towards the rear with seating and cordoned off from vehicle access to what is largely a pedestrian area.
