Imposing pub with a large open plan interior. Mismatched furniture and comfy sofas give a retro vintage feel while at the rear is a large outside drinking area and a covered barn (locally notorious as the scene of a grisly lion mauling in the 18th century). Local art adorns the walls, and quiz and games nights feature. An extensive selection of craft keg beers from local breweries complements the cask offering.
