This pub, built in the eighteenth century is a welcoming, warm locals establishment on the edge of the Rype. The pub has been modernised over the years and supports a darts team, holds quiz and occasional live jam evenings. The garden area has had a refurbishment and converted to decking with many tables & chairs. No food is served but up to eight Real Ales are served in the winter months.
A separate comfortable room called The Chesterfield adjacent to the bar can be used to hold meetings and functions.
This Pub serves 5 changing beers (could be more as 8 hand pumps) and 1 regular beer.
