This Pub is Closed Long Term

*** Reported as having been closed for some time due to Covid and also the ladndlady unfortunately died. Unsure about its future ***

While it may always look closed, check for the small light in the window near the door or just do battle with the door latch to the public bar.

First licensed in 1763, this well-worn howff offers a warming welcome and beers from the Strathbraan range. The public bar has a traditional coastal decor complete with mixed fuel stove and bar counter water founts.

Children are allowed in the adjacent lounge, complete with a pool table. Dogs are allowed throughout.

The local Knitting Club meets here every Wednesday and the pub is a proud sponsor of the local Shipwreck Charity Walk.
