Small, family run hotel on main road between Ballater and Braemar. Ale may not be available in the quiet winter months when there is a lack of tourists exploring Royal Deeside. *** No longer open to public. ***

It is now fully converted to a self-catering lodge, benefits from having been a hotel as it has retained facilities not often found in a holiday lodge. From the all en suite bedrooms, many with brand new facilities for 2014, to the huge central social space encompassing the original traditional bar....

A self-catering holiday home with 11 bedrooms en-suite and can accommodate 21 adults + 3 children. 1 room is on the ground floor suitable for disabled.
