Now privately owned, this is a recently modernised hotel painted in a light grey throughout. The small lounge bar is near the entrance and it leads to a large, airy dining area.

Just downhill is the picturesque, 17th century harbour, which hosts the annual Scottish Traditional Boat Festival each July.

Re-opened again in February 2017, there is no longer a handpump but a key-keg beer is available. It will have to be established with the brewery as to whether it can be classed as 'real' or not.
