Small, fishing-oriented hotel on the banks of the River Don. The public bar with its open fire, has the feel of a dark, wood-lined cave with one end dominated by a projection TV screen used for sporting events. The lounge bar has a warming wood burning stove and there is a separate restaurant and conservatory dining area with stunning bridge and river views.
The riverside garden is popular in summer.

The Grampian Transport Museum with its own miniature railway is nearby and the Castle Trail and a dry ski slope are also close.
