Located north of Durrington station, this large corner pub was formerly the Golden Lion. Having closed for a significant refurbishment it re-opened on 22nd May 2025 as The Castle.

It has plenty of seating inside and large seating area outside.

Family Friendly, food available every day, large TV screens showing sports.

Manager plans to ask customers to nominate next cask ale from a list which he will then order in.

NOTE: 08:30 Saturday and Sunday opening is for breakfast, but no alcohol served until 10:00. At weekends main meal service also starts at 12:00
