49-53 Main Street, Saintfield, BT24 7AB (View on Google Map)

With its gleaming white facade, the White Horse stands out among the buildings around it. Located in the main street of the historic town of Saintfield some ten miles from Belfast. Formerly a coaching inn, it is now a modern pub with bar, lounge and food serving areas. Food is very much to the fore with a pizza restaurant downstairs and bistro upstairs. The Flaming Crust pizzeria is open Wednesday to Saturday. Although no longer owned by Whitewater Brewery, their ales are still available, usually two on hand pump. A winner of CAMRA Northern Ireland Pub of the Year 2009.
