Originally opened in 1874 this Grade II listed pub reopened in August 2015 operated by the White Brasserie Company. The pub is now divided into a pub section at the front with a restaurant and open kitchen at the rear.
Historic Interest
Grade II listing:- Late C18 building of 2 storeys, 3 windows. Fairly high pitched tiled roof with end chimneys. Brick, now painted, with brick dentil cornice. Rendered lintels, with vermiculate key blocks to 1st floor recessed sash windows, lost glazing bars. On ground floor modern windows and 2 gabled brick porches. 1-storey modern left wing. Graded partly for importance of position on corner site.
This Pub serves no changing beers and 3 regular beers.
