A 300-year old brick and flint pub with low beamed ceilings, popular with tourists and locals. The pub is split into four areas, one being the bar, with two log fires during the winter, and as you'd expect plenty of (genuine!) exposed brickwork and beams.
Three beers are usually available, alongside an extensive and very good quality menu. Outside there's a large garden and patio with seating.
Of interest in the bar there is a display cabinet with a 250 year old child's shoe, discovered in the fabric of the building during previous alterations.
This Pub serves 2 changing beers and 1 regular beer.
