Black and white village pub popular with the after work crowd. A former Wrekin(later Wem) house in years gone by. Bar is directly in front of you as entering. There is a large smoking area and a patio at the rear. The pub has recently been taken over on a free of tie lease. The new tenants have installed a 3rd hand pump and plan to introduce food in the near future. The landlord sources his ales from far and wide so you are unlikely to find these beers anywhere in the local area. **CLOSED October 2015 and converted into offices in 2016**
