Well established and popular pub facing Washington Village Green. Built in 1828 makes it one of the oldest pubs in the area. It changed its name from The Commercial Hotel in 1937. There are 3 distinct drinking areas and a large garden at the rear.
There are three handpulls , often with a Maxim beer. ( The handpulls are in the bar as you walk in). Beers are rotated and there will always be at least 1 blonde ale available The pub accept CAMRA 50p vouchers. Food is served all day till 9pm from an extensive menu and includes themed meal nights during the week. Children welcome till 7pm
