Historic Interest
In 1949 became a Wilsons Brewery house following merger with Walker & Homfray's Brewery, originally this was a Daniel Clifton & Co house. There is evidence of this in a ground-level carved stone on the front elevation marking the fact – a remarkable survivor and an interesting piece of our brewing heritage.
