Situated towards the edge of the village of Rainford. It has a cosy lounge and a restaurant to the rear. Beers are sourced from local breweries with a large selection of wine and a range of spirits available. The comfortable bar is at the front of the building while meals are served every day except Monday and Tuesday in the restaurant to the rear. There is a beer garden to the side of the pub.
