Originally known as the White Horse this large city centre pub is now called the Star. A mixed group of drinkers during the day and operates as a late night venue which is popular with the LGBT community. There is pool table at one end of the L-shaped bar and a large outdoor courtyard area to the side and rear of the pub. No real ale.

Drag DJ on a Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Karaoke on a Monday and 70's & 80's DJ on a Tuesday with £1 drinks offer
