Restaurant and bar
The historic building can be found at the original main gateway to the Shoeburyness Garrison, which was built in 1899 to replace the original tavern. Back then it played a major roll in the community, serving thirsty workers and soldiers from the local barracks after a hard days work. Although no longer a functioning hotel, the property was brought back to life in 2012 with a complete refurbishment and is now the rustic brasserie and bar. Serves 2 real ales, Greene King IPA plus a weekly changing guest. Live music every Saturday from 9pm. Look out for the original tiled mosaics on the floor. Open for breakfast from 11am and bar open from 12pm.
This Pub serves 1 changing beer (Weekly changing guest) and 1 regular beer.
