Small terraced pub built in 1820 to serve the adjacent branch of the Leeds-Liverpool canal (now filled in). It is now a free house run by local brewery Hopworks, although the etched glass of the front window still shows the name of the long defunct Nuttall & Co brewery of Blackburn.
The layout is long and narrow with the small bar in the cosy front room. Up to two changing cask ales are served on handpump, one from the Hopworks range, along with four keg lines serving Hopworks beers including their lager and stout.
This Pub serves no changing beers and 1 regular beer.
