Small terraced pub built in 1820 to serve the adjacent branch of the Leeds-Liverpool canal (now filled in). It is now a free house although the etched glass of the front window still shows the name of the long defunct Nuttall & Co brewery of Blackburn.
The layout is long and narrow with the small bar in the cosy front room. Up to two changing cask ales served on handpump.
This Pub serves 2 changing beers and 0 regular beers.
