The interior has some magnificent carved oak doors and panelling, stained glass and fireplaces, although the public bar looks mostly modern. At the side is a patio and a large attractive garden running down to the Rothley Brook. It is also surrounded by a large private park with a cricket ground. Open daily, and food is served most times. The hotel is about 10 minutes walk from Rothley village, and is 1km from Rothley Station on the Great Central Railway.
