A traditional style of public house with welcoming staff and friendly clientele. The pub has a warming real fire in the bar area during the winter months and has an extensive garden to the rear to enjoy the summer sunshine. A recent extension may be used for small functions.
There are up to nine real ales on the bar and occasional real ciders. A variety of cobs, sausage rolls and pork pies are available throughout the day.
Quizzes are held on Thursdays and a local archery club meets on the adjacent land on Saturdays. Darts night is Monday. Motorbike club is the first Tuesday of the month, whilst Subbuteo is played on the second Tuesday.
