The interior consists of a public bar with a snug annex, a lounge bar and a pool table bar room all with exposed ceiling beams and joists and genuine leaded light windows. It also has a skittles long alley which doubles as a function room/dining room. An enclosed partially covered courtyard is equipped with garden furniture whilst further to the rear is a lawned garden with picnic tables and plentifully childrens play equipment.
Historic Interest
The pub's origin can be traced back to 1752 but it is believed to have existed before that time and was known as The Birch Tree until 1826.
