Friendly, welcoming two-bar pub with a traditional local's feel to it. There's a cosy lounge area, off which there's a raised seating area which can be booked for functions.
Kentish beers and ciders feature on the bar and there's an interesting and varied selection of food on the menu.
A great range of social activities is held, with live music at the weekend, vinyl record nights and jam sessions. At the end of the month there's a Dinner Club, run in conjunction with the Vinoteq wine bar. There's also darts, football and skittles teams.
At the back, there's a good-sized enclosed rear garden, with a skittle alley and covered area.
The pub is tucked just off Dover's one-way system and is a short bus ride from the town centre. There is limited parking outside. Nearby there's on-street parking and the Charlton Shopping Centre car park.
