Large 1960's pub converted into one room modern interior. In the heart of Greasby village. the Red Cat has been the spiritual home for live music for the village. Threee of the guest beers are from the Greene King range while the fourth is sourced elsewhere.

The Red Cat opened on 20 August 1964, was built on land behind the New Inn which it replaced. Described in 1980 as a large well appointed pub serving an extensive suburban residential development on the outskirts of Greasby, at that time selling Whitbread Special Cask Bitter.
