Located on the main road of the small village of Itchen Abbas, on the Pilgrims' Way, and close to the picturesque River Itchen. The pub is divided into two parts: the bar area has local vintage adverts on the walls; the slate-tiled restaurant, serving modern pub food, is adorned with antique kitchen items. Outside is a small, raised patio with benches, leading onto a grassed area with a large, fenced pond.

Historic Interest

Originally called the Plough, it spent 1994 to 2014 as 'The Trout'.
