Extensively renovated and improved in September 2015. Carpeted throughout, the single roomed pub has been cleverly arranged so that there are a number of separate drinking areas. TV screens abound but are normally on mute to allow conversation to take place, with the aim of creating a traditional community ale house. Outside, at the rear, is a heated patio and smoking area complete with large TV screen. The pub operates 'Challenge 25' and no children are permitted. Refurbished in June 2019.
