This Pub is Closed Long Term

Used to be Fitzgerald's (formerly The Elephant's Head) which closed in 2012. The upper floors have been converted to flats with an A4 use retained on the ground floor by planning condition. Was then a pixxa restaurant bar. Now a cocktail bar.

Historic Interest

Local listing:- A late Victorian public house which forms part of a terrace. Ground and two upper storeys built in red brick with moulded brick string course and window details. Ornemental plaster panels at second floor level with elaborate plaster pediment with elephant head medallion. Pub used to be called the Elephants Head. Original pub ground floor frontage extant. Bar interior with original features.
