Historic Interest
Sections of The Old Mill Inn are traceable in history to the 17th Century where it was originally three separate buildings. Its said that the buildings were used for a variety of purposes including a funeral directors and a butchers. When the buildings were all joined together, a small secret room was constructed in the heart of the building with the only access being through a small opening in the roof. The room was designed to be a safe house for priests during the catholic and protestant battles. The room was only discovered around thirty years ago and contained a silver flask, a glass and a bible.
This Pub serves 1 changing beer (Tractor Shed/Keswick) and 0 regular beers.
