Located in the main street in Alva at the foot of the Ochil Hills, the No5 Inn is worth a visit after a good day's walking. The comfortable historic bar is wood panelled with a collection of local history pictures. The restaurant at No5 Inn prides itself on offering a traditional menu of Scottish favourites and dishes from around the world. The No5 Inn has been offering operating since the early 18th century. Named as such because it was the 5th inn that Robert Burns stopped at on his way from Stirling to the north in 1787. No real ale here
