Set in tranquil Dorset countryside, this 17th century, part thatched country inn has a cosy intimate feel. Refurbished in 2012, the interior is open plan but divided into four distinct areas. Some original features have been retained including the flagstone floor in the bar area, large inglenook and window seat. The pub is predominately food oriented but welcoming to those who just want a drink. Excellent, locally-sourced food is served all day with a good varied menu.
