This genuine community pub has a homely interior and the atmosphere is friendly. At the rear of the pub sits a large restaurant which offers a carvery every Wednesday and Sunday at present.

A new landlord has taken over in the last 8 weeks and is trying to bring in more cask ale but it's a slow process to build up the clientele as he has never run a pub before.

I wish him all the best going forward.
