This is a club, which means that the bar may be only open to members.
In a semi-basement, The Moon is primarily a music venue. It may open earlier, or on days when normally closed, in conjunction with music events. Bands play on Friday & Saturday evenings. Upstairs, and reached via a separate entrance is the Moon Club where bigger name bands perform and for which there is an admission charge. There is no draught real ale in the Club but beer from the Full Moon can normally be taken upstairs.
