The pub is attached to a 48 room Premier Travel Inn. The name derives from the fact that it was built on the site of the first mill for Kelloggs in the country. Parts of the building date from the 18th century. This was the miller's house, although very little
remains of the old mill can be now seen in the stream that runs alongside. The pub has several separate areas and is divided into a small drinking area and a restaurant. The drinking area has an inglenook, some original beams and a few photos of the old mill on its walls, with a TV on the end wall. The pub opens for breakfast each morning from 6:30 - 10:30 (7-11 Sunday) with the main food menu staring at noon each day. There are nappy-changing facilities in the disabled toilet.
This Pub serves no changing beers and 2 regular beers.
