Attractive looking pub on a level higher than the pavement. It has an upstairs lounge, which opens out onto the garden and car park behind, and a downstairs bar area. Behind the old leaded windows, the overflow bar is quite cosy. The lounge typically offers more comfortable surroundings. The outside drinking area at the front enables customers to watch the world go by on the busy Cardiff Road. The changing beers are from the Brains/Marstons stable and may include a Brains seasonal beer. May close early at night.
