This Grade II listed building, close to junction 22 on the M62, is near the famous Rishworth School and offers superb views across the Calderdale countryside. Built in the mid-18th century and originally called the King's Arms, it was later known as the Royal Hotel and once suffered the fate of being used as council offices. Now fortunately refurbished to a high standard, it retains its log burning fires, beamed ceilings and stone walls, but with the style of a contemporary bar and restaurant. Informal in atmosphere. There are handpumps serving local beers.
This Pub serves 1 changing beer and 2 regular beers.
