Historic hotel, with parts dating back to the 13th century. The traditional oak-panelled bar is cosy, with red leather seating and stocks three ales, two rotating from local breweries such as Woodforde's and Moon Gazer, and one permanent, known as Maids Head Ale.
There's also a pretty patio courtyard which is partially covered, and tables in front on the pavement with views across Tombland and of the Cathedral.

The main bar has some inter-war fittings but the counter and bar back are recent. Seek out the Norwich Panorama by John Moray Smith.
