Imposing hotel with a wide range of facilities. Used to be a Brains pub and website still reflects that. Now run by Marstons. 2 regular beers, two changing guest ales.

Food times vary according to staff availability

According to a member report, the two real ale pumps have been removed "due to lack of popularity".

Historic Interest

Grade II listed, built l795-l800 as a hotel for Charles Greville as part of the first phase of the new town. Historic Wales reference 12874
