Originally built as a private residence, Kettering Villa, in 1865, it became the Red Roofs Hotel in the 1940's. After the hotel closed in 1982, it was opened as the Goalpost by Shrewsbury amd Wem Ales. It was renamed Lounge 107 in 2004 and in 2014 was threatened with demolition for a petrol station for ASDA opposite. The planning application was refused and it remained open until July 2018.
After being closed for six months, it has undergone a complete refurbishment at a cost 0f £350,000 and opened on 28th December 2018. Being sports orientated, it features classic Wolves pictures alomg with photographs of the City. As it is located opposite the Molineux car park, the pub is very busy when Wolves are playing at home (car park £5 charge on match days).
