Converted from two cottages more than 150 years ago and modernised in the 1920s and 1990s, this Shepherd Neame house continues to work hard towards re-establishing its popularity but struggles in an area where every other brewer allows guest beers. As of December 2023 no cask ales were available. There is a single bar with four TVs for live sport (different sports can be shown on different screens) and a pool table and darts board. Hidden away to the rear is a raised patio garden, ideal for summer evenings. Food is not served but if arranged takeaways can be taken in. Music is on an occasional basis.
Historic Interest
The pub was converted from two dwellings during the mid-1860's and has been known as The Lamb since at least that time. It was largely rebuilt in 1928, but original 18th century beams exist throughout the building.
