Friendly traditional local on the edge of the town centre but with several bus routes stopping outside. There is a single bar, and a raised area for diners.

Accommodation is in 3 en-suite rooms in an old stable block. In addition to two changing beers there is a house beer but the brewer has yet to be identified.
